Refinery of Sinopec Jinling Petrochemical Corp.,Ltd.(originally Nanjing Refinery) is a large modern state-own petrochemical enterprise with a history of over 50 years. The plant is located in east suburb of Nanjing, at the foot of Mount Qixia which is of beautiful landscape. To the north of the plant is the "gold watercourse" Yangtse River, to the south of the plant are the Beijing-Shanghai Railway and the Shanghai-Nanjing Highway. The ten- thousand-ton dock in the plant is immediately adjacent to Nanjing Xinshengwei Harbor of foreign trade which is the largest harbor on the Yangtse River. The special railway is directly connected to the Yaohuamen Railway Marshalling Yard which is the largest in East China. There is an express way leading to the modern Lukou International Airport. The plant is so extremely well-located that it possesses convenient air, surface and water transportations. The plant is the home to many high-level professionals. The plant owns complete modern petrochemical, environmental conservation manufacturing equipment and the largest crude oil, product oil storage and transportation base along the Yangtse River. The products of this plant include many high-quality oil products, polypropylene resin, catalysts, industrial sulfur,1,3,5-trimethyl benzene,1,2,4-trimethyl benzene, C9 aromatic hydrocarbon solvent oil, liquid nitrogen and liquefied petroleum gas etc. This plant has the capacity to automatically fill 1000 tons of tank trucks and nearly ten thousand LPG steel cylinders, which have greatly benefited the old and new customers of both Nanjing and surrounding areas. The plant has a standardized and excellent logistic system and a traffic service system.
